背景介紹：

β2-微球蛋白是一條由10 0個(gè)氨基酸組成的單肽鏈，存在于有核細(xì)胞表面。β-2-M被持續(xù)分泌到循環(huán)系統(tǒng)中，從而維持一個(gè)平衡的血清水平。
診斷意義：
腎小球?yàn)V過率的降低導(dǎo)致β2-微球蛋白水平的升高。
β2-微球蛋白是診斷腎臟疾病和活動(dòng)期類風(fēng)濕關(guān)節(jié)炎的有用指標(biāo)。
獲得性免疫缺陷綜合征(Acquired Immune de?ciency syndrome，AIDS)患者血清β-2-M水平升高。
檢測(cè)的血清樣本總數(shù)為92份，在男性、絕經(jīng)前和絕經(jīng)后女性的正常水平之間差異不大。男性樣本的平均值為1.582 mg/L，絕經(jīng)前女性的平均值為1.457 mg/L，絕經(jīng)后女性的平均值為1.608 mg/L，青年人的平均值為1.13 mg/L。
β2-Microglobulin (β2-M) is a single polypeptide chain containing 100 amino acids and is found on the surface of nucleated cells. β2-M is continuously secreted into the circulatory system and therefore maintains a balanced serum level.
Clinical Trends:
Decreases in the glomerular ?ltration rate gives rise to increases in the level of β2-M.
β2-M is a helpful marker in the diagnosis of kidney disease and active rheumatoid arthritis.
Patients with acquired immune de?ciency syndrome (AIDS) show an increased level of β2-M.
β2-M has a low concentration in serum. We have found in a normal unselected population that in serum the highest level for β2-M is 3.8 mg/L. The total number of serum samples tested was 92, showing little differences in the normal level in males, pre- and postmenopausal females. The average for male samples = 1.582 mg/L, for premenopausal female = 1.457 mg/L, for postmenopausal female = 1.608 mg/L and ?nally for young people = 1.13 mg/L.
